Alaskan Husky orignated from Alaska, United States. They are used as sledge dog and for racing. They run at a speed of 30 km per hour. They travel 45 km per day. They are very tough and endurance, so they are used as sledge dogs.
They grow upto to a height of 60 cms and weighs around 25Kgs.
These dogs are prone to thyroid disease called hypothyroidism.
